- Avoid leaving it in full sun behind a windscreen: it contains a lithium battery.
- Do not aim the light ring at the windscreen or the rear window: lighting visible from outside, red in particular, is not permitted on the road.

Where it sits
It is made for a porte-gobelet : a cylindrical base, roughly the size of a short can. Put anywhere else — the dashboard, a flat console — nothing holds it, and a loose object in a cabin always ends up travelling under braking. The cup holder is the only place where it really stays put.
The fragrance, and its refill
One bottle is supplied with the device: you choose its scent when ordering, from five. When it is empty, the refill can be ordered on its own — it is the same bottle, without the diffuser, from the same list. How long a bottle lasts depends on the intensity chosen and the time spent at the wheel.
What it is not
It is not an air purifier: it filters nothing, it holds back neither particles nor pollen. If the smell comes from damp carpet or a saturated cabin filter, it will cover it without treating it — and a cabin filter is changed once a year, for the price of two bottles.

Does it have to stay plugged in?
No. It runs on its own battery and recharges over USB-C, like a phone. No cable trails about while you drive, and nothing occupies the 12 V socket.
How does it know the car has started?
It senses the vehicle moving and starts on its own, then stops once the car is still and the engine is off. The touch controls remain available if you prefer to operate it by hand.
How long does a bottle last?
That depends entirely on the intensity chosen and the time spent at the wheel: a short mist on short journeys lasts several weeks, steady diffusion on long roads empties the bottle far faster. The manufacturer gives no figure, and we will not invent one.
Can you use a different oil or fragrance?
It is not intended: the device is designed for the bottles in the same range, and a thicker oil can clog the nebuliser. That is why we sell the refills separately.
Will it make the cabin damp?
No, the mist is very fine and disperses into the air. It is not a household humidifier despite the name the manufacturer sometimes gives it: the volume released stays small.
Does it get rid of bad smells?
It covers them. If the smell comes from damp carpet, a stained mat or a saturated cabin filter, the source is still there — a cabin filter is changed once a year and costs the price of two bottles.
